The NDA has a two-thirds majority in the Lok Sabha, while the UPA has been reduced to a mere 17 per cent in the lower house of the Parliament. Can we hope for the Parliament to be productive this term?
According to the 'Pareto Principle' or the '80-20 rule', for many events 80 percent of the effects come from 20 percent of the causes. The recently concluded Budget Session of the Parliament is an excellent example of this principle.
