The Indian Institutes of Management Bill, 2017 was passed by the Rajya Sabha recently. The Bill has taken some much-awaited and much-needed measures for giving more autonomy to the 20 IIMs in the country. It grants the status of national importance to these institutions. There is much to be celebrated, but is this enough?
