There are two sides to the story of innocent lives being lost at the hands of our soldiers. One, are the alleged fake encounters purportedly being done by some of our Army or police men for winning awards and recognition. On the other side, are the protests leading to more loss of innocent lives.

Bhopal gas tragedy is back in the news again nearly 26 years after this ghastly incident took place. Media is leaving no stone unturned to blame the government for its inaction. But, a closer look and the media would realize that it is a failure on its part as well. How?

Some say leaders are born while others say they can be made. In either case, leadership is not easy to come. Almost a year and a half after the 26/11 attacks, Ajmal Amir Kasab - the lone terrorist who was captured alive - was given death sentence. The government and the judiciary are ecstatic at their achievement in delivering justice so fast. But, is this enough?
